October 2012 Newsletter: Beth's Fall Tours Begin On Wednesday

Dear friends,

Mother Nature has already crowned the treetops in Duchess County and Upper Westchester with spangles of red, orange and gold.  If you live in New York City, please visit us "upstate" before the great rains of November wash this beauty away.

Two important shows in Westchester just opened this weekend:
"Peekskill Project V," Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Art, through July 28, 2013.

"Witness: The Art of Jerry Pinkney," Hudson River Museum, through January 13, 2013.

Manhattan also has much to keep you busy before the New Year:
"Regarding Andy Warhol: Sixty Artists, Fifty Years," Metropolitan Museum, through December 31, 2012.
"Picasso Black and White," Guggenheim Museum, October 5-January 23, 2013.
Medieval Manuscripts from the Bodeleian Library, Oxford, England at The Jewish Museum
"Mantegna to Matisse," Frick Museum, through January 27, 2013.
"Conceptual Abstraction,"  Hunter College Gallery, October 5-November 10, 2012.
"Toxic Beauty: The Art of Frank Moore," The Grey Art Gallery, through December 8, 2012.
"Matisse: In Search of Painting," Metropolitan Museum, December 4 through March 27, 2013.
"Malcolm MacDougall III: Microscopic Landscape" in Union Square, through January 2013.
"Malcolm MacDougall III: Parallel Worlds," 287 Spring, November 10 - December 15, 2012.
